Many people feel anxious about aesthetic appointments, about needles, about the unknown, about making a decision they might later regret. These feelings are completely normal and entirely understandable. They are not a barrier to receiving treatment; they are simply part of being human.
Whether you are nervous about a particular procedure, unsure whether you are ready, or simply not sure what to expect, the consultation at Regener8 Aesthetics is designed to work through all of that at your pace. There is no clock on the wall, no expectation to decide anything on the day, and no version of this conversation where you feel rushed or pressured.
Our practitioner has over 15 years of healthcare experience. Conversations about hesitation, concern and uncertainty are a normal and welcome part of every consultation here.
Every consultation at Regener8 Aesthetics follows the same careful, structured process, so you always know what is coming next.
Arrival. You will be welcomed into a calm, private consultation room. There is no waiting room crowd, no background noise. Take a moment to settle.
Conversation first. The consultation begins with a conversation, about you, your concerns, your health history and your goals. Nothing is assumed, and nothing is rushed.
Skin assessment. Your practitioner will carry out a gentle skin assessment and explain what they observe. You are encouraged to ask questions at any point.
Treatment discussion. If treatment is appropriate, your options will be explained clearly, what each involves, what results are realistic, and what the risks and aftercare look like. Nothing is glossed over.
No pressure to proceed. At the end of your consultation, you will receive a written treatment plan. You are free to take time to decide, and there is no follow-up pressure if you choose not to proceed.
Your consultation fee is protected. The £25 consultation fee is fully redeemable against any treatment booked within 30 days, so you have time to reflect before deciding.
Needle anxiety is among the most common concerns raised at aesthetic consultations, and it is taken seriously here. It is helpful to know that not all treatments involve needles, microneedling, for example, uses very fine micro-channels in the skin rather than injections, and a consultation can help you understand the difference.
For treatments that do involve injections, topical anaesthetic cream is available where clinically appropriate, and can be applied before your treatment to reduce discomfort significantly. Treatments can be paused or stopped at any point, no explanation required.
If needle anxiety is something you are concerned about, please mention it when you enquire or book. It is far better to have this conversation early than to manage it on the day without preparation.
No client at Regener8 Aesthetics will ever be encouraged to book a treatment they are not certain about. The consultation is a space for questions and informed decision-making, not for closing a sale.
If you leave a consultation having decided that treatment is not right for you at this time, that is a completely valid outcome. You will not receive follow-up calls, messages or emails pressing you to book.
If you decide later that you would like to proceed, simply get back in touch. Your consultation notes remain on file, and you will not need to start from scratch.
A little preparation can make your appointment feel more manageable. Here are a few things that many clients find helpful:
What if I decide not to have treatment?
That is entirely your decision and completely fine. The consultation is simply a space to gather information and explore your options at your own pace. You will never be followed up with pressure to book. The £25 consultation fee is fully redeemable against any treatment booked within 30 days, so you are welcome to take time to think it over.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes. You are welcome to bring a friend, family member or carer to both your consultation and your treatment appointment. Having a familiar face with you can make a significant difference, and we are happy to accommodate this.
What if I feel unwell during a treatment?
Any treatment can be paused or stopped at any point. No explanation required. Your comfort and wellbeing always take priority. Our practitioner has over 15 years of healthcare experience and is well placed to respond calmly and appropriately if you feel unwell.
Is it normal to feel nervous?
Very much so. Many people feel some degree of nervousness about aesthetic appointments, whether it is their first time or not. Feeling anxious about needles, about making the wrong decision, or simply about something new and unfamiliar, is completely understandable. The consultation is designed to work through these feelings at your pace.
How do I explain what I want if I'm not sure?
You do not need to arrive with a clear brief. Many clients come in with only a vague sense of what is bothering them, and that is a perfectly good starting point. The consultation is a conversation, your practitioner will ask questions, listen carefully, and help you identify what might or might not be appropriate for you. There is no pressure to have the right words.
The consultation is simply a conversation, at your pace and without pressure. The £25 consultation fee is fully redeemable against any treatment booked within 30 days. All treatments subject to consultation and individual suitability.
