What Is Lumi Eyes?
Lumi Eyes is a specialist polynucleotide injectable treatment designed to rejuvenate the delicate skin around the eyes. Using highly purified polynucleotides derived from salmon DNA, Lumi Eyes works at a cellular level to stimulate tissue repair, boost hydration and improve skin quality in the under-eye area.
The periorbital area is one of the first places to show signs of ageing and fatigue. Traditional dermal fillers are not always appropriate for this zone due to the thinness of the skin. Polynucleotide treatments such as Lumi Eyes offer a different approach, focusing on bio-stimulation rather than volumisation, making them well-suited to the eye area.
At Regener8 Aesthetics in Selly Oak, Birmingham, we offer Lumi Eyes as part of our regenerative treatment menu. Our practitioner will assess your suitability during a thorough consultation before recommending a personalised treatment plan.
How Polynucleotides Work
Polynucleotides (PNs) are chains of nucleotides that act as bio-stimulators within the skin. When introduced to the under-eye area, they may help to promote fibroblast activity, support collagen and elastin production, and improve the skin's ability to retain moisture. This can result in a gradual improvement in skin texture, tone and firmness over a course of treatments.
Benefits of Lumi Eyes
Targets pigmentation and vascular changes contributing to under-eye darkness
Supports skin renewal to improve the appearance of fine lines and crepey texture
Enhances the skin's moisture-retention capacity for a refreshed appearance
Bio-stimulates tissue regeneration for improved firmness and elasticity
Results develop gradually over the course of treatment as the polynucleotides stimulate the skin's natural regenerative processes. Individual results may vary, and a consultation is required to assess suitability and set realistic expectations.
The Treatment Process
Consultation & Assessment
Your journey begins with a thorough skin assessment and medical history review at our Selly Oak clinic. We discuss your concerns, assess the under-eye area and determine whether Lumi Eyes is the most appropriate treatment for you. The consultation fee is £25, fully redeemable against treatment.
Preparation
On the day of treatment, the under-eye area is cleansed and a topical numbing cream may be applied to maximise comfort. Your practitioner will mark the injection points and explain each step before beginning.
Treatment
The Lumi Eyes polynucleotide solution is introduced to the periorbital area using fine-gauge needles or a cannula technique. The procedure typically takes 20 to 30 minutes. Most clients describe the sensation as mild and well-tolerated.
What to Expect After Treatment
Temporary redness, mild swelling and temporary sensitivity may occur. Recovery experiences vary between individuals, though most people return to normal activities quickly. A follow-up appointment is typically scheduled three to four weeks later. Personalised aftercare guidance will be provided during your appointment and through our consent and aftercare system.
Pricing
The £25 consultation fee is fully redeemable against any treatment booked and carried out within 30 days. Pricing depends on the extent of the treatment area and individual requirements. A course of two to three sessions is typically recommended for optimal results.
All treatments are subject to a prior consultation to assess individual suitability. Prices are correct at the time of publication and may be subject to change.
