Pigment Correction Programme

Pigmentation is one of the most rewarding concerns to treat well, and one of the easiest to treat badly. This programme is built around careful assessment, because the right approach depends entirely on your skin type, the pattern of pigmentation and its underlying cause.

Pigment Correction Programme — from £130 per session

The Pigment Correction Programme starts from £130 per session. Because pigmentation varies so much from one person to the next, the exact treatment and price depend on your assessment, your skin type, your pigmentation pattern, your homecare needs and the professional treatment selected for you. Not every pigmentation presentation receives the same procedure.

Professional homecare may be recommended separately as part of the programme, as consistent homecare and daily SPF are essential to a lasting result. Your personalised plan is confirmed at your consultation. See full pricing →

Assessment shapes everything

Assessment Formulation Programme Treatment Homecare Review Maintenance

Pigmentation assessment and treatment differ according to skin type, pigmentation pattern, the underlying cause and your individual risk profile. Concerns we assess include post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), melasma, sun damage, solar lentigines, uneven skin tone and acne-related pigmentation.

There is no fixed pathway. Following your assessment, our Clinical Formulation Engine generates a personalised journey from the options below, matched to your skin, your concern and your goals. What suits one person will not suit another, which is why the programme is built around you rather than a set package.

Fitzpatrick I–III and IV–VI are assessed differently

Lighter skin (Fitzpatrick I–III). Pigmentation is often sun-related, such as solar lentigines and diffuse sun damage, alongside melasma. A wider range of treatment intensities may be considered, though melasma still calls for a measured approach.

Skin of colour (Fitzpatrick IV–VI). Darker skin has more reactive melanocytes and a meaningfully higher risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Overly aggressive treatment can worsen the very problem it is meant to solve. For this reason we plan conservatively, prioritise the skin barrier, and often begin with homecare to prepare and calm the skin before any procedure.

This is not about doing less for darker skin. It is about doing the right thing: conservative treatment planning, barrier preservation, and a slower, safer build that protects long-term results.

Successful pigmentation treatment needs both

Pigmentation almost always requires both professional treatment and consistent homecare. Neither works well alone. Your homecare is chosen to suit your skin type and is central to the result, not an afterthought.

Daily broad-spectrum SPF is an essential part of treatment. Without it, pigmentation returns and treatment progress is lost, which is why we treat photoprotection as part of the programme itself rather than optional advice.
